Queer as folk is an 8 part drama written by Russell T. Davis. It is being shown on channel 4 every tuesday at 10:30pm. The series is based around 3 gay guys who live in Manchester and who like going out on the manchester gay scene and usually hang out in Babylon or various other clubs in the Manchester gay village. The series starts off with Vince, Stuart and their friend Phil out clubbing. This is where Stuart meets Nathan, the one night stand who never went away. Stuart and Nathan end up going back to stuart's place, during the night Stuart gets a phone call from the hospital, to tell him that he's become a father, with the mother being a lesbian. Vince picks Stuart up at his home and Nathan tags along, much to Vince's dismay. After Vince and Stuart have been up on the roof to perform the king of the world, Titanic scene they set off home, Stuart and Nathan end up spending the rest of the night together and Vince goes home to watch his Doctor Who videos. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

Vince (Top picture), is the unlucky in love, single guy who hasn't had a shag in other six months. He's best friends with Stuart, although deep down he wishes it was more. He works in a supermarket. He is a major fan of Doctor Who and Coronation Street. Stuart works in the PR business and is wealthy. He is the father of a baby. His best friend is Vince. When it comes to love, he's not interested, he's a one night stand person and once he's had you, he doesn't want to know you anymore. He is, as Vince once said 'A cunt' and as long as he is able to cop off with a guy he doesn't care what happens afterwards. Nathan is 15 years old and still at school. He had his first shag with Stuart and fell in love, he also thought that Stuart felt the same. He hasn't really come out with his friends or family. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
